Craig R. White was born in Dallas, Texas in 1966. He moved to the Atlanta area in 1970 and currently resides in Marietta, Georgia. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology (1988) and law degree (1991) both from the University of Georgia. He has been admitted to the Georgia Bar since 1991.
Craig practices general civil litigation with specialization in insurance defense, premises liability, commercial/common carrier litigation, bad faith litigation, commercial litigation, construction litigation, subrogation, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, product liability, collections, and workers' compensation. He serves as state-wide counsel for numerous large and small insurance companies as well as many private corporations. In addition, Craig also maintains a corporate, trusts and estates and business litigation practice. Craig is also admitted in state and federal courts located throughout Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Atlanta Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and Georgia Defense Lawyers Association.
In addition to being admitted in all Georgia Trial Courts, including Federal District Courts, Craig is also admitted to practice in the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Court of Appeals. Craig is also a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association where he serves on its Automobile Liability and Premises Liability Committees. He is also one of the handful of Georgia attorneys invited to be a member of the Council on Ethical Billing.
As part of his law practice, Craig is actively involved in presenting seminars to his clients in an effort to keep them apprised of new developments in Georgia law on a wide range of topics including insurer bad faith, risk management, claim investigation, insurance coverage, trial practice and workers compensation issues. He has been approved by the Georgia Insurance Commissioner's Office to provide continuing education seminars to insurance adjusters for credit.
